Events will consist of Standard pistol\, Air pistol\, Sport pistol (men’s and ladies)\, Centre fire and 50m Pistol. \nThe Norfolk Island Pistol Association is a small outdoor 15 bay club\, formed in 1980 and situated on Anson Bay’s cliff top. On arrival be transferred to Aloha Apartments in the heart of the Burnt Pine shopping area.   Aloha Apartments offers a comfortable and convenient “home away from home” experience on Norfolk.  Strategically situated in the heart of Burnt Pine\, Norfolk Island’s main shopping and cafe district\, Aloha Apartments boasts an excellent central location. Guests can easily walk to clubs\, shops\, cafes\, restaurants\, and supermarkets. Despite being in the bustling town centre\, the apartments are set on private\, landscaped grounds\, offering a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. It’s also just a short drive from attractions like Emily Bay beach and historic Kingston.  Your rental vehicle awaits you near your apartment and Kate will have a welcome with you all in the Aloha function room. Make sure you are wearing your bright Hawaiian shirts so Kate can spot you when you arrive on Norfolk. On arrival on Norfolk you’ll be transferred to Aloha Apartments and Kate will catch up with you all in the Aloha function room. \n Meanwhile for the guests who arrived yesterday from Brisbane breakfast is at High Tide Café this morning.   The day is at leisure.  Of course in the morning you might like to visit the Norfolk Island Markets. Norfolk’s Sunday Markets are lots of fun and a hub of activity rain\, hail\, or shine. You’ll find arts and crafts\, jewellery and woodwork as well as some delicious home-made treats.  Kate will have some special things planned just for the Brisbane contingent! \n This evening everyone will be transferred to The Paradise Hotel for a welcome function. Enjoy some canapes and savoury nibbles and a glass or two of something refreshing! \nDay 3 – Monday 15 March 2027 (B\,L\,D)  Let’s Dance!/Island Life Tour / Norfolk RSL \nBreakfast is at High Tide Café this morning. Mid morning make your way to Rawson Hall for the first of your dance workshops. \nAt the conclusion of the workshops today you’ll be picked up at Rawson Hall for the Island Life tour.  First stop is the Boatshed Restaurant for a delicious lunch then set off on tour where you’ll tour the island gain a true insight into the intricate nature of modern island life. Your guide will share the latest information on the island’s ethnic groups\, nationalities and languages spoken\, including the Norfolk Island indigenous language. Hear how and where islanders are born\, educated\, find work and careers\, attend their various churches\, are cared for in advancing years and eventually accorded free burial in a carefully tended community graveyard. Experienced leaders will explain the eight original family groups\, how their cultural traits are fostered\, valued and maintained in today’s daily life. There will be a special stop at the top of Mt Pitt for some line dancing photos!  The tour includes afternoon tea.   tea and concludes with a delicious lunch at the Boatshed Restaurant.  The afternoon is at leisure so why not check out the shops in Burnt Pine or grab the car keys and start exploring. \nTonight\, make your way to the Norfolk Island RSL for a 2 course dinner. \nDay 4 – Tuesday 16 March 2027 (B\,L) Dance Workshops / Light Lunch / Op Shop / Social Night Rawson Hall    \nThis morning jump in the car and head to Governor’s Lodge for a delicious breakfast in the Boatshed restaurant.  Mid-morning dancing workshops commence at Rawson Hall and will be followed by a light lunch served back at Aloha Apartments in their function room.  This afternoon the local Op Shop will be expecting everyone to visit to see what bargains can be had for dress up! Such a great way to support a local organisation that looks out for the community. \nDinner tonight is own arrangements followed by a social night at the hall. What did you find at the Op Shop on Monday?  Hopefully you found some great gear to wear.    Prize for the best dressed! \nDay 5 – Wednesday 17 March 2027 (B\,L\,D)   Dance Workshops / Trivia Afternoon  / Island Fish Fry    \n This morning you’ll make your way to the South Pacific Resort Hotel for a delicious breakfast followed by a dance workshop at Rawson Hall.  When the music stops make your way to Bounty Bar and Grill for a delicious light lunch and you guessed it – trivia!! You know that Kate won’t let anyone off lightly.   Good luck to everyone and remember Kate’s game\, Kate’s rules! \nTonight don your best country gear as the group is transferred to Orn Dar Cliff for a Country Hoedown. A Norfolk Island Fish Fry is a highly popular event and you’ll enjoy a feast of local dishes\, including mouth-watering fresh fried fish\, traditional salads\, and homemade coconut bread. You’ll also find local specialties like ‘Pilhi’ (savoury banana slice) and ‘Ana’ (a special sweet potato mash with local herbs)\, and coconut pie and cream for dessert. Coffee and tea are included\, and you can purchase beer and wine or BYO. \nDay 6 – Thursday 18 March 2027 (B\, L\, D)   Breakfast at Emily Bay  / Dance Emily Bay  / White Night  \nThis morning make your way to Kingston for breakfast by the bay!  Emily Bay on Norfolk was announced as the 3rd best beach in Australia for 2025 and the locals will argue with you and tell you it’s the absolute  best! This morning enjoy a delicious breakfast in this beautiful location. Time for a swim in the bay after breakfast and there will be some dancing with Kate before you make your way home later in the morning. \nThis afternoon is at leisure and again a chance to explore the shops in the Burnt Pine area. Norfolk Island is a duty-free and GST-free shopping haven where you’ll find over 50 stores selling everything from sporting goods and imported shoes to cosmetics\, jewellery and artwork. You won’t find chain stores here. Norfolk Island’s shops are locally owned and operated. \nTonight make your way to the South Pacific Hotel for a delicious carvery dinner.  Tonight is White Night! \nDay 7 – Friday 19 March 2027 (B\, D)   Breakfast Orn dar Cliff / Dance Workshops / Line Dancing in the Wild / Presentation Night \n This morning make your way out to Orn dar Cliff. After a delicious breakfast your dance workshops this morning will be in the shed. The theme is Jungle so grab those animal prints and make your you have flat shoes on or are ready to go barefoot.  Finish up with a cuppa and piece of cake before heading back into town. This afternoon there will be line dancing in the wild for a great Norfolk photo finish. Sadly it’s time to say goodbye. Join the Bounty mutineer descendants and compete in their signature event – the Bounty Fours Bowls Tournament. \nThis will be the 65th championship and it’s a great week to be ‘on-Island’. Norfolk is a mecca for keen lawn bowlers – with a welcoming local club and a Pacific Island backdrop why wouldn’t it be? \n				\n	Of all events the Norfolk Island Bowls Club’s annual events\, the Bounty Fours Bowls Tournament is much loved.  An open fours competition\, teams can be men\, women or mixed. Norfolk Island is a popular lawn bowls destination and unlike some other clubs the greens remain open all year round. Norfolk Island makes the most of the climate by hosting tournaments throughout the year including this most popular and long-standing tournament. \nWhile bowlers come to participate in the tournament\, almost as importantly they also come to enjoy a holiday. Tours\, shopping and attractions are slotted in between or after their time on the greens. \n	With the club located in the centre of town all visitor needs are just a few minutes walk away including shops\, cafes and island touring. With a large number of accommodation places also located only five minute walk away\, leave your car behind and enjoy a drink and meal after the game at the Club’s bar and bistro.  Travel to the island for the Bounty Bowls or come another time of year for a social game with your club or friends. Tournaments are traditional two-bowl fours. \nSaturday: Traditional Norfolk Welcome \nSunday to Thursday: Qualifying Rounds \nThursday afternoon to Friday: Finals \nNumber of ends in qualifying rounds is dependent upon entries and is at the discretion of the overseas committee of the Norfolk Island Bowling Club & Bowls Council\, Inc. \n\n			Accommodation Options	\nHoliday’s for one person\, two\, three or more – we can help you select the accommodation style you want\, at the price you want.
