The Andrew London Trio
Andrew, Kirsten and James invite you to join them on Norfolk in 2026 for a fabulous week of warm weather and cool beats.
Andrew London: A professional musician since 1979, Andrew is best-known in New Zealand for his swing trio Hot Club Sandwich and country-rock band The Cattlestops. The late John Clarke admitted to being a fan, and comparisons have been made to Tim Minchin, Tom Lehrer and Noel Coward.
Kirsten London: A relative latecomer to the music scene, and partially inspired by her internationally celebrated jazz-pianist uncle Mike Nock, Kirsten took Andrew’s 1964 Hofner ‘McCartney’ Violin Bass down off the wall in 2010 and never looked back. Playful standards by artists such as Peggy Lee, Julie London and Blossom Dearie are a speciality.
James Tait-Jamieson:  Returning to New Zealand after studying in in Las Vegas James’s ‘Sons of Sinatra’ show toured New Zealand off and on, and played a handful of cruise ship gigs around the South Pacific and Indonesia until the Covid hiatus. He currently teaches music full-time in his home town of Palmerston North.
Andrew London Trio
Veterans of several Norfolk Island jazz and country music festivals, and dozens of similar appearances all over New Zealand and Australia over the last three decades, The Andrew London Trio enjoy presenting a wide variety of musical styles and eras.
The trio will present a variety of themed concerts over five nights to ensure there’s something for everyone during our ‘Rhythm’n’Pines 2026’ Tour of Norfolk island
All of the band members have been to Norfolk before and have a real love of the island and are keen to share their knowledge with those travelling with them in 2026.
