World Heritage Walking Tour
Exclusive to the Norfolk Island Travel Centre: The World Heritage Listed Kingston and Arthur’s Vale Historic Area (KAVHA) on Norfolk Island holds many historical treasures from Australia’s past colonial and penal history. Explore the areas of convict incarceration. Enjoy a walk through the cultural landscape earlier occupied by the military and civil population of the colonial era.
Island Life Tour
Spend a delightful day touring Norfolk Island, gaining a true insight into the intricate nature of modern, daily island life. Learn about the eight original family groups, how their cultural traits are fostered, valued and maintained in today's daily life. How modern life is experienced in Norfolk Island is what this tour is all about. An island-style lunch completes the tour.
Breakfast Bushwalk
Start your day with a refreshing outdoor experience on our Breakfast Bushwalk & Clifftop BBQ Tour. Choose between an easy walk through Palm Glen Reserve or a scenic 3.5 km walk across Mt Bates, the island’s highest point, finishing at the historic Captain Cook Monument with sweeping coastal views. After the walk, enjoy a delicious breakfast BBQ on the clifftop. Guests unable to walk are welcome to join the group at the monument. A relaxed and flexible morning combining nature, history and great food.
Island Feast
The culinary delights are a treasured inheritance from our Tahitian foremothers. This evening, step into the heart of Norfolk Island’s food culture as we uncover the traditional cooking methods from the dirt ovens of Tahiti known as “ahima’a” and follow the journey of these dishes as they were transformed by the Pitcairn Islanders. Fletcher's Mutiny Cyclorama
The Cyclorama provides a total experience. Visitors walk inside one continuous 360° panoramic painting and feel as though they are standing on a pier or ship deck, and are a part of the scenes. Walk inside this unique work of art that will take you on an incredible journey. Discover how the world’s most famous mutiny created the Pitcairn and Norfolk communities.
