Event Details
For ANZAC Day 2024 the Norfolk Island RSL extends a warm welcome to current and ex-Service Personnel, their descendants and all travellers, to join them for commemorations on Norfolk Island.
The Norfolk Island RSL Sub-Branch is proudly supported by its returned and active Service men and women, Norfolk Island Cadets, the Women’s Auxiliary and the Island community. Norfolk Islanders have enlisted in all conflicts from the Boer War to today, and in both WWI and WWII had the highest enlistment per capita of Commonwealth Nations. ANZAC Day brings all Islanders together, to participate in commemorating and honouring all of these men and women.
The dawn and morning ANZAC Day Services on Norfolk Island are held in World Heritage listed Kingston. The dawn Service occurs on the edge of picturesque Emily Bay, and the morning one at the Island’s much loved Cenotaph at the intersection of Pier Street and Quality Row.
