The tournament is a pairs event with both mixed and same gender partners eligible to enter
The Castaway Pairs Invitational is held over 3 consecutive days (18 holes each day) with 3 different forms 4 Ball pair games being played.
Day 1 is a 4 Ball Best Ball Stableford
Day 2 is an American Foursomes
Day 3 is a 4 Ball Aggregate Stableford
Pairs are awarded points based on where they finish amongst the field on each day’s play (e.g. if there are 50 teams of 2 players then the team that wins will collect 25 points, the team that comes second will collect 24 points....24th will collect 2 points and the rest will collect 1 point). This unique point structure, along with the three different games, gives players of all different handicap levels a realistic chance of winning. The format also lends itself to having a high likelihood of been very close on the last day, which makes for some exciting golf.
The week starts on Monday with a welcome function, held at Castaway Resort Hotel. There is finger food and a welcome drink included for entrants to the tournament in their entry fee.
The golf is held over the next three days with daily presentations held at Norfolk Island Golf Club on Tuesday and Wednesday evening. Following the golf on Thursday, the daily and overall presentation dinner will be held at Castaway Resort Hotel. A two-course dinner is included in the entry fee and a great night of laughs and new friends is guaranteed.

Tournament registration is managed by the Norfolk Island Golf Club - forms are available from Norfolk Island Travel Centre and the Golf Club.
Entry fee is $330pp payable direct to the Norfolk Island Golf Club.

Conditions/Cancellation Penalties
Deposit and final payment
Package prices advertised are subject to availability at time of booking. A non-refundable deposit per person is due upon booking: $250 if booking prior to 11 Sep 2023; or $1000 if booking after 11 Sep 2023. Final payment is due prior 13 February 2024. In some cases air tickets will be issued within 24 hours of making the reservation. Airfare is subject to availability and non-refundable after issue. Tickets are non-transferable. Accommodation cancellation penalties apply within 90 days prior to travel. Within 60 days of travel, up to 100% cancellation fees may apply. We therefore strongly recommend travel insurance to protect you against some unforeseen cancellations.
Non-refundable deposits are taken on behalf of suppliers as the assurance of payment for services we book for you as well as for the service we have undertaken on your behalf. There are many reasons why people decide to cancel travelling and in all cases deposits remain non-refundable.

It is important that you keep up to date with the latest government requirements available at: http://www.norfolkisland.gov.nf/covid-19-advice-norfolk-island
It is strongly recommended that you still undertake a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) for COVID-19 within 48 hours of departing and if this is positive do not travel to the Island. Norfolk Island has very limited health facilities compared with the mainland and particularly if you are elderly, unvaccinated or with a comorbidity and become infected with COVID-10 you will strain these facilities. There remains a mandatory requirement to report a positive result to either PCR or RAT for COVID-19 to the Norfolk Island Health and Residential aged Care Service 9NIHRACS) whilst on the Island.
This will result in self-isolation until you're symptom-free, at your own cost.
