Guests arriving from Sydney will land on Norfolk Island today. Upon arrival, transfers to accommodation will be provided, and rental vehicles will be available for collection at the property. Later this afternoon, make your way to Governor’s Lodge for a unique cultural experience. Discover the distinctive Norfolk Island language, brought by the Pitcairn Islanders in 1856 and still spoken by some locals today. Enjoy a complimentary beer or wine as you learn about the evolution of this fascinating language and the rich history of the Norfolk Island people. You’ll be saying watawieh (hello) in no time! Following the language session, you may wish to enjoy a cocktail at Bailey’s Restaurant before sitting down to a delicious dinner at Governor’s Lodge.

This morning, Sydney guests will enjoy the Island Life Tour. Spend the morning touring Norfolk Island, gaining a true insight into the intricate nature of modern island life. Your guide will share the latest information on the island's ethnic groups, nationalities and languages spoken, including the Norfolk Island indigenous language. The tour will conclude with lunch at the Boatshed Restaurant at Governor’s Lodge. This evening, Sydney guests will dine at the Homestead Restaurant, where a delicious dinner awaits.
Meanwhile, guests arriving from Brisbane will land on Norfolk Island today. On arrival, transfers to their accommodation will be provided, and rental vehicles will be available for collection at the property. The evening will be at leisure for Brisbane guests.

This morning, Sydney guests will enjoy time at leisure.
Brisbane guests will set out on the Island Life tour to learn all about this special island and conclude with lunch at the Boatshed Restaurant at Governor’s Lodge.
All guests will have the afternoon at leisure. Is there a tour that interests you? Ask us and we can add it to your package. Check out the shops in Burnt Pine or take a walk through one of Norfolk’s fabulous National Park trails. Does the island’s history fascinate you? Why not check out one of the many museums that are laden with stories of interest from Norfolk’s past. Or simply stroll around and explore one of Norfolk’s splendid scenic locations.
This evening all guests will make their way to Kingston to enjoy a special dinner at No. 9 Quality Row a historic Georgian-style building constructed in 1839 as the Royal Engineer’s residence. Today, the site functions as a research centre, and tonight’s dinner will take place in the original annex where meals were once prepared by servants for the family dining in the main house. Guests will enjoy a traditional Norfolk Island meal featuring dishes such as Tahitian fish, pilhi, mudda, and island pies. The evening also includes demonstrations of weaving, cooking, and the Norf’k language, passed down from mutineer ancestors and their Tahitian wives.

This morning Sydney guests will take a morning walk in the great outdoors, followed by a delicious breakfast. There are two walk options to choose from. For those seeking a leisurely stroll, explore the lush Palm Glen Reserve. For the more active, take a leisurely 3.5 km walk through scenic Mt. Bates - the highest point on the island - to Captain Cook Monument. This monument marks the spot where Captain James Cook and his officers landed in 1774 and offers breathtaking views of the coastline. After the walk, gather on the clifftop for a scrumptious breakfast BBQ. Returning into town the rest of the morning is at leisure.
Brisbane guests will spend the morning at leisure before all guests meet for lunch at Bounty Bar and Grill for a special invite only quick cooking demonstration with food tasting and a welcome drink. This Norfolk Island special cooking demonstration is run by Jo and Ernie who are the authors of “Island Style Cook, Live & Eat” cookbook. You will also receive a copy of this cookbook to take home with you.
The rest of the afternoon is at leisure and dinner tonight is own arrangements for Sydney guests whilst Brisbane guests will make their way to the Homestead Restaurant for dinner in this delightful old island home.

The morning is at leisure. You may wish to make your way to the Norfolk Island Markets where you’ll find local arts and crafts and some great home cooking.
At lunchtime today, all guests will make their way to Two Chimneys Winery for a delightful degustation-style wine tasting experience. The formal tasting features selections from the Premium Wine Collection, perfectly paired with an array of Noelene’s exquisite homemade delicacies many crafted using fresh produce from the winery’s own garden.
The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure for you to relax or explore at your own pace. Dinner this evening is at your own arrangement.

Norfolk’s food has zero food miles it truly is paddock to plate. This morning all guests will set out on a Paddock to Plate tour. Visit a market garden that supplies vegetables to the Island and learn about providing seasonal produce. The group will also tour a farm with beef cattle to understand the unique farming practices on Norfolk Island. Next, visit a free-range chicken farm and learn how they supply the Island with farm fresh eggs. The final stop will be at a local home for a delicious two-course lunch featuring local ingredients.
The remainder of the day is at leisure for you to enjoy as you wish. Don’t forget to use one of the Food Week vouchers included in your pack with our compliments! Treat yourself to a coffee, ice cream, muffin, or another delicious indulgence from one of Norfolk Island’s many charming cafés. Dinner this evening is at your own arrangement.

All guests have the morning at leisure.
This afternoon make your way to Bailey’s Restaurant at Governor’s Lodge for their wonderful Tea Party at Bailey’s. You’re invited to have a hilli (Norfolk for being very relaxed or a little lazy) and enjoy a glass of sparkling wine on arrival as you partake in a selection of sweet and savoury delights and tea or coffee. Enjoy a mouth-watering array of tasty treats, including the traditional favourites like mini-scones and finger sandwiches plus scrumptious hot and cold savouries and delicious delicacies.
This evening all guests are in for a night of delicious food, live music, and stunning views. Make your way out to ‘Orn dar Cliff’ for a feast of local dishes, salads, and homemade coconut bread, all topped off with mouth-watering fried fish that will leave you wanting more. After your feast, sit back and relax as the Baunti Byuutis dancing group takes the stage to entertain you with their captivating local performances. This unforgettable evening takes place on our exclusive Western Side property 'Orn Dar Cliff,' ensuring that you have the best possible experience from start to finish. Wine and beer are available for purchase, or you can bring your own drinks to enjoy with the delicious food and entertainment.

This morning it’s the turn of Brisbane guests to take a morning bush walk followed by a delicious clifftop breakfast. Returning into town the rest of the morning is at leisure. Late this afternoon make your way to Governor’s Lodge, grab a glass of wine or a beer and settle in and enjoy the Norfolk Language Class. Following the language session, you may wish to enjoy a cocktail at Bailey’s Restaurant before sitting down to a delicious dinner at the hotel.
Sydney guests sadly say goodbye today and will transfer to Norfolk Island Airport in time for the flight home.

Sadly, the week has come to an end. Brisbane guests will be transferred to Norfolk Island Airport today as it’s time to say goodbye to Norfolk.

Norfolk Island Travel Centre event packages offer the perfect balance of independent and guided experiences. Your time on Norfolk is yours to enjoy independently with the added benefit of several tours and functions included for you to enjoy with like-minded travellers who are on the Island for the same event. There is no tour host for this event. A rental vehicle is included to give you the flexibility to reach meeting points for each activity at the designated times.
Prices are a guide only, subject to change and availability, and are in Australian Dollars. Prices are correct as of 11 June 2025. Please check all prices, availability, fees, conditions and information with your travel agent before booking.
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is due upon booking. Airfare may be required at time of booking to commit to Qantas booking terms and conditions.
Final Payment: Final payment is due: 26 January 2026. Payment can be made by personal or bank cheques or by direct deposit into our Commonwealth Bank account. If you would prefer to pay by Visa or Mastercard, please add 1.5% to the total cost of your holiday package.
Changes & Amendments: Changes can be made up to 48 hours (notification business days only) prior to departure at a change fee of $200 per person plus any applicable upgrade fees, subject to availability.
Cancellation: Airfare is subject to availability and non-refundable after issue. Accommodation cancellation penalties apply within 90 days prior to travel. Within 60 days of travel, up to 100% cancellation fees may apply.
