PROPOSED ITINERARY
Day 1 – Tuesday 8 June 2027 – Arrive Nashville
Welcome to Music City! As you touch down in Nashville, you will instantly feel the electric, welcoming energy of a city where rich history meets a thriving modern culture. Beyond its legendary status as the global capital of country music, Nashville greets visitors with a dynamic culinary scene—ranging from world-famous hot chicken to upscale Southern fusion—alongside striking architecture, beautiful green spaces, and a famously warm dose of Southern hospitality.
Those travelling with Kate will transfer by coach to your downtown hotel and your Travel Director will be on site to meet the group. The evening is at leisure.
Day 2 – Wednesday 9 June 2027 (B,D) At Leisure/Welcome Dinner
Today is yours to design as you settle into the rhythm of the city. Nashville is incredibly distinct and easy to navigate, offering a collection of vibrant neighborhoods that are perfect for exploring at your own pace. You might enjoy a stroll through Centennial Park to marvel at the scale of the full-scale Parthenon replica, or a walk through the tree-lined streets of 12 South, known for its iconic murals and artisan coffee shops. As you find your footing, you will quickly fall in love with how accessible the city is—whether you are indulging in a relaxed brunch, browsing the boutique shops in the Gulch, or simply soaking in the creative atmosphere that breathes life into every corner of town. It is the perfect, low-pressure day to acclimate, discover your new favorite spots, and let the city's effortless charm win you over.
This evening transfer by coach to a local restaurant for a welcome dinner with the group. After dinner you might like to take a scenic evening stroll or perhaps sip on a cocktail at a local speakeasy. Dance? Did someone say dance? Kate will have it in hand. Will you hit the floor at one of Nashville’s legendary line dancing spots? Remember – what happens in Nashville stays in Nashville – unless Kate puts in on Facebook!
Day 3 – Thursday 10 June 2027 – Sunday 13 June 2027 (B) CMA Fest
Grab your passes – it’s CMA Fest time!
CMA Fest is the ultimate bucket-list event for country music fans. What makes this 4-day festival so unique is how it completely takes over downtown Nashville, transforming the entire city into a massive, fan-first celebration.
10AM – 5PM – Downtown Free Stages - Multiple massive outdoor stages scattered across downtown (like the Chevy Riverfront Stage and the Dr Pepper Amp Stage). You can catch big-name stars and rising artists performing high-energy sets right by the river.
Daytime – Fan Fair X at Music City Center - A massive, air-conditioned indoor convention space. This is where fans go for artist panels, Q&As, acoustic performances on the Close Up Stage, and the legendary meet-and-greets where you can get autographs and photos.
Evenings- Nissan Stadium Nightly Concerts - The main event. Each night, the crowd moves across the pedestrian bridge to the football stadium for a star-studded, stadium-sized concert featuring country music's absolute biggest headliners back-to-back.
From Thursday morning onward, downtown Nashville is completely pedestrian-friendly and packed with energy (drawing roughly 95,000 fans a day). The blocks between Broadway and the Cumberland River turn into "Fan Alley," filled with interactive brand activations, food trucks, and pop-up bars. Because the daytime outdoor stages are completely free, anyone can just walk up, grab a spot on the grass at Riverfront Park, and hear world-class music without spending a cent.
As the sun sets, the outdoor daytime stages close down, and a massive wave of fans walks across the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge toward Nissan Stadium. These nightly concerts are legendary—running late into the night with top-tier artists performing their biggest hits, often bringing out surprise guests and collaborations you won't see anywhere else.
CMA Fest is a marathon, not a sprint! Wear your most comfortable walking shoes, pack a clear bag (which is strictly enforced at the stadium and major stages), download the official CMA Connect App to track surprise pop-up performances, and stay hydrated in the June Tennessee heat. It’s going to be a blast!
Day 7 – Monday 14 June 2027 (B,D) Nashville/Honky Tonk Highway/RCA Studios/Dinner local Restaurant
After breakfast experience a city tour of Nashville with a local guide. Take in all the sights that make up the history of music in Nashville, head down Broadway (Honky Tonk Highway) and see the honky tonks that bring the city to life. Honky Tonk Highway is the world-famous, neon-lit stretch of Lower Broadway in downtown Nashville that serves as the beating heart of Music City. Packed tightly with historic bars, world-class entertainment complexes, and Western-wear shops, this iconic strip operates on a scale unlike anywhere else in the world.
After lunch on your own visit RCA Studios, your tour will transport guests back to moments that made history. Known globally as the cradle of the "Nashville Sound" and the famous "Home of 1,000 Hits," this unassuming brick building tucked away on Music Row is where Nashville’s international recording legacy was truly born. You’ll stand right where Elvis Prewsley, Dolly Parton, Waylon Jennings, and other greats recorded hits, and hear stories and songs born in this historically important studio.
Tonight transfer by coach for dinner at a local restaurant. And after dinner Kate will have it in hand. Hurricane Hall? The Nashville Palace? Who knows where you may end up!
Day 8 – Tuesday 15 June 2027 (B) At Leisure/Grand ol’ Opry
After breakfast enjoy a day at leisure. Your Travel Director will be available to assist you and Kate will have plenty of ideas. Perhaps it’s time to hit the shops! No trip to Nashville is complete without a visit to Opry Mills, Tennessee's largest outlet and value retail destination. Located just 15 minutes from downtown next to the Grand Ole Opry House, this massive indoor complex features over 200 stores, making it the perfect climate-controlled afternoon excursion for a large group. You might want to head straight to Boot Barn to browse an incredible selection of cowboy boots, western shirts, and performance-ready hats at fantastic prices! Or what about Betty Boots? Located right on Broadway, this boutique is a paradise for the ladies in the group, specializing in high-end, fashionable Western boots, custom hats, and statement apparel that will pop under the honky-tonk neon lights.
This evening, enjoy a visit to The Grand Ole Opry. Attending a live performance at the Grand Ole Opry is an unforgettable experience because it operates as a live radio broadcast rather than a traditional, single-artist concert. The show moves at a thrilling, fast-paced rhythm, featuring 6 to 8 different artists in a single night. Each act steps into the world-famous 6-foot circle of oak wood at center stage, performs 2 to 3 of their biggest hits, and then yields the stage to the next performer—ensuring there is never a dull moment.Established in 1925, it has evolved from a local radio broadcast into an iconic American institution that celebrates the past, present, and future of country music. Follow your show with a backstage tour of the Opry. This takes place immediately after the show and gives visitors an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at how the world's longest-running radio broadcast comes together.
Day 9 Wednesday 16 June 2027 (B) Ryman Auditorium
Breakfast followed by a visit to Ryman Auditorium. Your tour will transport you back to moments that made history. You’ll stand right where Elvis Presley, Doll Parton, Waylon Jennings, and other greats recorded hits, and get a chance to explore beautifully curated exhibits of authentic stage costumes and personal artifacts from the legends who have graced the stage. Kate and your Tour Director will have some plans for the rest of the day. What will it be? A whisky distillery? More shopping? The options are many!
Day 10 Thursday 17 June 2027 (B,D) Country Music Hall of Fame/Dinner Local Restaurant
Today, dive into American cultural history with a visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame. Often referred to as the "Smithsonian of country music," this breathtaking architectural and cultural anchor is located right in downtown Nashville. You’ll see iconic memorabilia like Elvis Presley’s 1960 “Solid Gold” Cadillac and hand-written lyrics from legends like Kris Kristofferson.
This evening will be a farewell dinner with your group. As you share your favorite memories and show off your new Western gear, you will celebrate a spectacular getaway that proved Nashville isn't just a place you visit—it’s a feeling that stays with you long after the final song plays.
