Dawn Service Commemorations for ANZAC Day on Norfolk Island are the first to be held in Australia. As the sun rises over Emily Bay, in view of the Island’s own Lone Pine, the Norfolk Island RSL leads a poignant community ceremony of remembering that individually connects and unites.
The setting is 10 acres of magical Norfolk pines and bushland lit up like an enchanted forest. Meander along (or ride in the ‘moon buggy’) a gentle winding path and enjoy a light supper at the end.
