Travel Insurance

Our goal is to plan for your trip to go perfectly, but if something goes wrong it’s important you have travel insurance that takes care of you. With over 35 years’ experience we are expert insurance providers for Norfolk Island travel. We welcome the opportunity to support your insurance coverage choices.

Why Insure?

One of the key reasons is that Norfolk Island is – well, an island! As such, in the event of extreme weather conditions diversions or delays can occur. Airlines do not take responsibility for flight delays or cancellations due to weather. If you are caught in this circumstance, additional accommodation, car hire, meal, connecting flight and other expenses will be borne by you if you do not have insurance.

It’s important to check with Medicare, your private health insurer or other national insurer regarding your medical coverage while on Norfolk Island.

However, the Australian Government has said: “From 1 July, medical treatment on Norfolk Island will be covered by Medicare as it is on mainland Australia. Emergency medical treatment will be covered by Medicare or your private health insurer. If you need to be medically evacuated from the Island, you will be transferred from Norfolk Island’s health facility to the closest, appropriate mainland hospital. The cost of the medivac will be covered by the Australian Government”.

We try to look after our customers bringing the best possible value to all aspects of your Norfolk Island holiday. We offer an extra 10% discount on travel insurance for all clients who book their holiday package with us.

If you are planning multiple trips throughout the year ask about our annual multi-trip policy offering an incredible 20% discount.
